There is no large staff here. A camp comes together because an advocate gave up a Saturday, someone booked a hall, and someone else sat at the registration desk from morning until evening. If you are able to spare any of that, we would be glad of it.

If you are an advocate

Bar-enrolled advocates sit at the shibir desks and answer questions from people who come. It is awareness and guidance work, not case work. Even one camp a year is reason enough to write to us.

If you are not a lawyer

A great deal of what happens at a camp is not legal work at all: registration, translation, keeping the records in order, printing material, and reassuring someone who is anxious about waiting in the queue. Do tell us your town and where your strengths lie.

If you can host or fund a camp

Colleges, gram panchayats, law firms and companies have all helped put a shibir together with us. You would bring the hall and your reach in the area; we bring the advocates.

Donations

Camps are funded one at a time. The costs are ordinary ones — the hall, travel for the advocates, rights material printed in Marathi, and photocopies for families who cannot manage the shop outside. If you would like to support a camp, or simply the photocopying, please write to help@nyayvishwas.com and we will share the Foundation's bank details along with a receipt in its name.

You will not find a donate button on this site, and no one who comes to us for help is ever asked for money.
